Chief Veterinarian
Dr. Jennifer Pierotti
Dr. Jennifer Pierotti is an emergency veterinarian and clinic manager with over two decades of experience, and she serves as the Managing Member and Chief Veterinarian. Dr. Pierotti is originally from Oklahoma and attended undergraduate at Oklahoma State from 1987 – 1990 in the Bachelor of Science /Zoology program. She obtained her Doctor of Veterinarian Medicine degree from Oklahoma State in 1994, and then she made the move to Texas.
After working in general practice for 2 years, she developed an interest in Emergency and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Pierotti joined Flower Mound Emergency Pet Clinic during its first year of business in 2008. She has been the medical director since the clinic opened that year. She is a member of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society and has been since 1999. She enjoys their yearly continuing education meetings.
Dr. Pierotti spends her time outside of the clinic with her husband and 5 boys. She also manages the family zoo which consists of a Pit Bull/Lab mix, two Golden Retrievers, three very tolerant cats, four box turtles, and a couple of Sulcata tortoises
